fantastic viewdouble booked roompoor cleanliness
the room had a fantastic view of the street with the trams below. the location was great and so were the staff.
The customer service left something to be desired. Upon arrival, i learned my room was double booked. i was "upgraded" to a family room instead of the triple room i reserved. This upgraded room was smaller than expected. furthermore a leak plagued the bathroom, and the cleanliness was not ideal. Hairs and a used vicks inhaler were present in one of the beds.

I found the location convenient. it was a quick five-minute walk to the central station, made day trips easy. the hotel is also right across from a tram stop. The rijksmuseum was very accessible. the staff were cute. They even called to check everything was satisfactory! i was charmed by the personalized notecard and stroopwaffles upon arrival. another sweet touch included a bag of chocolates on my last day.
The city tax seemed high. I paid €79.64 and wasn't refunded.

The hotel provides convenient luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. This service is free. a kettle was provided in the room, a great feature for making tea.

Breakfast offered ample options. the food was AMAZING!!! the cooks were portuguese. It was nice talking to them in their native language. i liked that breakfast was nutritious and plentiful. the breakfast is totally worth it for the location.

the hotel's proximity is great. i walked easily to nearby groceries, food and views. the hotel was very near the central station. everything seems close by and public transport is accessible.
the air conditioning seemed a bit off. it didn't quite meet expectations .

the room had amenities. it included all i required for my short visit. the room looks clean. the room also felt spacious, which i liked a lot after a long trip.
